there was a weird rumor/confirmation/hype video of blakroc 2 iirc but i think dan shot it down immediately, and theres been no talk of it since.

id suggest thickfreakness cuz it sounds nothing like those three (except kinda rubber factory), and if that doesnt do anything give up

Mine, too.

I don't love them like some. Don't totally hate them, either.

The frenzy in the late ’00s was definitely a little weird and off-putting.

Someone said Sung Tongs was the best album from them. I'd have to agree. Recorded in Colorado, apparently.

the minds of the two musicians really reacted well with their acoustic guitars for that one ^_^

the chords and rhythms are perfect... i can understand why they would want to wait a while before returning to that type of a setup, but, with all of the experience with other instruments they have, in a few years going back to two or three acoustic instruments would create something incredible!

just a miscellaneous list of a few wonderful older modest mouse songs!!

* might

* grey ice water

* the fruit that ate itself

* long distance drunk

* baby blue sedan

my birth year (1982), like most of the decade was a shit year for music.

Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska

Mission Of Burma - Vs.

Gang Of Four - Songs Of The Free

Michael Jackson - Thriller

Imperial Bedroom came out that year and that's probably my favorite of any from 1982.  anybody know any other good ones?

Jazz, yo.

Like, I'm not the most hip jazz collector out there, but all my favorites are from the ’50s and early ’60s. Rock sucked pretty hard in the 1950s, mind. I don't think it got good until the mid-’60s when acid and weed started to influence musicians of the era.

Seeing how the modern album format wasn't born until the 1940s, I don't think it is fair to count that decade or the ones preceding it. So the flurry of angry PMs can stop now.
