liked john coltrane and miles davis enough. havent gotten further than that because i figured if i didnt love that a lot then jazz is probably not my thing yet

relating to jazz music is a weird process...

these days it is grouped in among all sorts of other music but at the time it was basically a UFO among horse drawn carriages.

some of the most inventive writers and improvisers got together and chose to make music that has an entirely unique feel even today that can't be pinned down.  jazz is half music, half anomaly.  (despite what music theorists and enthusiasts who have heard it all may tell)  I think you will really like jazz if you think of it like seeing a UFO or a meteor shower, a strange happening... rather than trying to get into a popular style of music.  ^_^

fun house ranked:

t.v. eye

down on the street

1970

loose

dirt

fun house

l.a. blues

that makes it seem like l.a. blues isnt gnarly as fuck but it is

fun house at 6 seems wrong but you can really put any of those songs in any order and it would probably be fine

i like the birthday party cover of fun house too
